The corset bodice is constructed with topstitching to add structure along with traditional corsetry details like channel boning and an adjustable lace up back. The full voluminous skirt has a high slit exposing the leg and a chapel train. The exaggerated bow details add some drama and are optional for those who prefer a more sleek, pared down look. The bodice has a metal eyelet lace-up back with a silk ribbon and the skirt has an invisible zipper closure at the back. 

The fabric is what really makes this such an exquisite dress. This 100% silk triple weight satin finish gazar is made for us in Italy. It has the most beautiful sheen, weight and fluidity, has structure without being stiff, has lovely movement and photographs like a dream.

It was perfect to construct the bodice and bows with just the right amount of structure and still have amazing drape and fluidity for the skirt. Yes, I am obsessed with textiles and this one is one of my all time favorites:)
